Now, the anime and averything that revolves around it is has become a culture. It is common to call "otaku" to anime fans, although this word still causes controversy. For someone otaku is derogatory.We have to understand "anime" as the cartoons from Japan.

The "otakus" have developed a new cultere, because they have their own interests as:
manga (japanese comics),anime,cosplay, videogames, voices actors and other aspects of Japan, language, music, culture, cuisine, literature, etc.
